  • Welcome to midtown
  • look at that size of that thing! Par for the course in NYC. It's like a $18.00 pastrami sandwich from Katz Deli - the thing is, it has 3x the meat of a $12 sandwich I get here in Silicon Valley and not anywhere near as good as Katz. So, you get extra and take it home for something to nosh on later. What do ya want? Oy! (this is my best Yiddish :() Silicon Valley is pathetic / embarrassing food wise. You are so frikkin lucky to be in a place where there is excellent food everywhere. I need to head out SF to get a decent meal. Getting in and out of the city via train or driving/parking is $40-$60 for me so it is $100 to get a decent sandwich on a whim.
  • well 20 + 15% tax is average meal here in canada so I'm not sure what you guys are complaining about
  • It's a tourist trap, that's why.
  • It's New York, that's why.
  • Nah. You can eat incredibly great food for cheap here if you're a local and take the time to find places.
  • Yeah but this is a sit down restaurant in Midtown, it isn't going to be cheap and the food is actually really good there.
  • There's a lot of sit down restaurants in midtown that are much cheaper. And I've been there. Their food is really mediocre and the only people that show up are tourists because it's on every, "Quick bite before you see a play on Broadway!" list that's ever been written.
  • Ok, name a few.
